Assassins Creed Odyssey’s first expansion, Legacy of the First Blade, started strong, introducing players to the first Assassin and offering a self-aware take on the series’ mythos. The ORIGINALSTORY 11.00am: Legacy of the First Blade is a three-part DLC initially billed as a look into the life of proto-Assassin Darius but, as players have discovered, it's really about something Moreover you can get a season pass separately on a later moment if you have a feeling that you want to explore more of AC: Odyssey. Judging from the description of the "legacy of the first blade", I believe this DLC is worth of my time because I am really a fan of this genre, and the story of the hidden blade would certainly interest me. ReasonOne: It doesn’t add cool things. When you have a base game as sprawling and content-packed as Odyssey, the last thing the DLC needs to add is more of the same. Unfortunately, that’s basically what you’re getting here. The first episode did the same thing, but I had hoped that wouldn’t become a pattern. Instead, Shadow Heritage Odysseywill have two DLC expansions, each broken down into three chapters. The first one, Legacy of the Hidden Blade centers around Darius, the first wielder of the hidden blade and focus on the continuation of the origins of the Assassin and Templar orders. The first chapter of Legacy of the Hidden Blade is already out, with the second . Itoo had trouble finishing Fate of Atlantis DLC. I loved the base Odyssey game (I played as Alexios). I also enjoyed Legacy of the first Blade DLC too and liked how it tied into Origins due to a particular character. That being said, Atlantis felt like a slog. The first part, Elysium, it was ok but oh so much vertical climbing and travelling. ACOdyssey is an hour eater game, like Clash of Clans with its progression of the game illusion. I miss an easier late game to clear the unseen locations or just to find 100 feathers for the Auditore Cape. If the next game have the same mechanics, I’ll just going to see the story cutscenes on YouTube. The first dlc is very controversial TheDLC missions are available after you’ve reached Level 28 and cleared Naxos in chapter 7 of the main story - it’s not something you’re going to start a whole new character to burn through. Ihave a strong disagreement about the mythology approach that AC is having since Odyssey, treating it as if mythos and history are 1:1 proportion about reality I haven't played the Odyssey DLC (yet), but having Eivor interpret Odin's memories through the lens of mythology is brilliant, because to the Norse peoples, their myths WERE history. TheVerdict. Legacy of the First Blade: Hunted is a brief but welcome new slice of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that sets the stage for the more traditional Assassins-versus-Templars-style micro-drama that was mostly missing from the base game. Though it's isolated to a single region and only gives you a handful of targets, an intriguing villain
