Even if you didn't raise the landing gear you could still move since trucks still have enough power to drive with the landing gear down, you'll just end up damaging your landing gear. Other thing you could do is go to the settings and make sure that your pedal axis (Clutch, Brake and Gas) are actually registering. #3.
Maybe it's not about ' how to go backwards : press the key S / check your settings ' but it's about ' how to go backwards : keep the trailer from going AWOL in reverse ' Should be able to skip most of the reversing with trailer, depending on settings.
Go to key assignment setting and assign the "T" key back (or use another key) for attach/detach trailer. #1. Shaun-Mate Aug 5, 2022 @ 7:07am. thanks for the reply, ive searched the whole keyboard controls menu and cant find the 'attach/detach' key, is it called something else? im fairly new to this game so apologies for the idiocy.
Especially, considering when using an auto there are very few times you need to change between drive and reverse. In game it would be 2 times, once when you connect your trailer and the final time when you deliver your trailer and that depends on whether you use the difficult parking option. Otherwise you only use reverse to connect the trailer.
To help I'll set out the settings needed to achieve the above operation of full automatic, with option to engage sequential and overide when in full automatic mode. Go into SETTINGS - GAMEPLAY. Find Truck Settings. Transmission Type: Real Automatic. Go to KEYS & BUTTONS.
. Euro Truck Simulator 2 was purchased through the Steam platform, so I do not have, and I do not know also, where is the product key, necessary for registration. In the acquisition of it, I think it was registered, but I do not remember the password and I also do not find where to request its replacement.
At the main menu bar at the top of your Steam window click "Steam". Settings. Controller. General Controller Settings. remove checkmark next to "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support". also disable "Guide Button Focuses Steam". Click the "Back" button at the bottom of the screen. Click OK on the Settings window. Showing 1 - 15 of 15 comments.
Most of the truck-specific (ie Volvo, Scania, ZF etc) shift patterns in-game don't use the normal Logitech reverse position (push the stick in, then right and down), they have reverse where a normal car gearbox would have 1st (Eaton-Fuller, Scania) or 2nd (Volvo, ZF). The Logitech reverse position is completely un-used (unless you manually set
many details such as relais sounds in the interior, key sounds for starting/stopping the engine, button sounds for raising/lowering the lift-axle, warning beep when going into reverse and much more custom sound attenuation config for the truck cabin to have a very realistic sound insulation in the interior (since ETS2 1.43 only!)
michaelfase Mar 25, 2014 @ 2:29pm. it's because in the 1.9 update physics have bee nmade more realistic, real truck cabins do the same thing but the problem with playing with a keyboard is that there are only to modes f acceleration, full or nothing and the same with brakes. with the new physics it causes the cabin to shake extremely. #5.
