The 'low battery' warning is because batteries used for Stop/Start technology don't like being jump started. It kills them! So dear old JLR have decided to give you plenty of warning that the battery is getting a bit low. Itis 100% battery related problem. I have 2016 DS, and the auto stop/start stopped working sometime around 2018 or so. My battery was pretty low at those days because I didn't drive my DS much; mostly I drive DS for long trip or camping, etc. When I fully charge my battery with CTEK charger, the auto stop/start suddenly works for a few TheAux battery only charges on long trips once the main battery is fully charged.
